TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1
Opening Session begins @ 6:00 pm Central Time —The NYFEA Institute will open with a special recognition and welcome from National President Tim Faulkner. The evening will feature a video highlight of two farms that feature NYFEA Members. The opening session will focus its energy on bringing connection and insight to young producers about their ag business. (TARGET AUDIENCE IS YOUNG PRODUCERS IN YOUR COMMUNITY) It will highlight a virtual presentation on USDA programs that are available for producers because of COVID-19. A final aspect of the evening program will be a presentation by the Contest Committee on the Ag Expression Award. Do not miss this unique opportunity to learn, grow and enjoy.
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 2
Day 2 Session begins @ 6:00 pm Central Time —The NYFEA Institute will again feature a video highlight of two farms that feature NYFEA Members. The Day 2 session will also include a virtual presentation on Leadership Skills that can help all of us deal with the anxiety of a world that is continuing to change due to the COVID-19 impact in our lives. (TARGET AUDIENCE IS YOUNG FARM FAMILIES N YOUR COMMUNITY) A final aspect of the evening program will be a presentation by the Contest Committee on the Spokesperson Award. Do not miss this unique opportunity to learn, grow and enjoy!
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 3
Day 3 - Closing Session begins @ 6:00 pm Central Time —The NYFEA Institute will again feature a video highlight of two farms that feature NYFEA Members. The Day 3 session will also include a virtual presentation focused on next generation opportunities for those pursuing a career in agriculture. (TARGET AUDIENCE IS STUDENTS LOOKING TO AGRICULTURAL CAREERS) The idea is to invite high school and collegiate ag students and to give them a chance to learn from experts about job opportunities. The evening will close with a presentation by NYFEA leaders about the future opportunities with Ag Promise, The Fort Wayne and The New Orleans Institutes.
